Cambridge

The Cambridge program revolves around one key philosophy: learning by doing, not teaching by telling. By embracing this philosophy and combining it with the curriculum resources made available through Cambridge, students are equipped with the skills and confidence needed to excel in the classroom and beyond. Throughout the Cambridge experience, students develop the skills and content knowledge necessary to meet the demands of advanced course work and ultimately transition successfully into Cambridge and advanced high school courses. Students in the Cambridge program will have the opportunity to develop the learner attributes that are necessary to be successful in elementary, middle school, high school, and future endeavors.

What's it like in a Cambridge classroom?

With the Cambridge Pathway, students build more than just a deep understanding of their subjects. They also develop higher order thinking skills so that they can apply what they have learned.

Cambridge students get to play an active role in the classroom. They will be asked to think critically, to learn how to construct an argument and evaluate evidence. They will learn to work independently, and to collaborate with one another to bring a project to a successful outcome - and if it’s not successful, they’ll also learn lessons from reflecting on why that might be
